Costa Daurada Golf Packages and Breaks

Tour grade golf an hour south of Barcelona, at package prices that undercut Spain's better known coasts. Infinitum's 45 holes headline a stretch of Tarragona shoreline where a week with four rounds can cost less than a single trophy green fee elsewhere, with Roman Tarragona, Cambrils seafood and the beaches of Salou filling the rest days. Here is who it suits, the courses to build around, a sample five night structure and indicative 2026 costs.

Who this trip suits

The Costa Daurada is the one base trip: fly into Reus, fifteen minutes from Salou, or Barcelona about ninety minutes north, drop the bags once and play everything within half an hour of the hotel. That makes it the natural pick for groups who hate repacking, for buddies trips built around serious golf at honest prices, and for mixed parties, because few golf coasts hand the non players a better rest day: Roman Tarragona, the PortAventura theme park, the harbor restaurants of Cambrils and miles of sand at Salou and La Pineda.

The golf itself punches far above the package price. Infinitum, the former Lumine resort, is a European Tour Destinations venue whose Lakes course hosted the DP World Tour's ISPS Handa Championship in 2022 and stages the tour's Qualifying School finals, the kind of pedigree that elsewhere in Spain commands resort pricing to match. Here a seven night package with four rounds still starts in the hundreds of euros. Day 1

Arrive and warm up at Gaudi Reus

Fly into Reus or Barcelona, check into a La Pineda or Salou base and shake off the flight with an easy afternoon round at Gaudi Reus, the flat, lake studded former Aiguesverds course, at an indicative 50 to 60 euros for 2026. Dinner on the Cambrils harbor sets the tone.

The Lakes at Infinitum

Day 4

The off course day

Tarragona's UNESCO listed Roman ruins, including an amphitheatre that looks straight out to sea, are twenty minutes away; Reus, the city that raised Antoni Gaudi, has the Gaudi Centre and a vermouth tradition to match. Families peel off to PortAventura, sunseekers to the Salou beaches.

Best time to book

The sweet spots are April to mid May and mid September into October, when the turf is at its best and the heat is friendly, and Infinitum prices accordingly: third party 2026 listings put prime window Lakes rates around 148 euros against roughly 133 in low season. Unusually for Spain, high summer is the cheaper play, since in July and August the coast belongs to the beach crowd, a pattern that also powers the region's all inclusive golf deals in Spain. Book spring and autumn packages two to three months out, summer inside a few weeks. Two diary checks before you lock flights: the Hills renovation keeps that course at nine holes until late September 2026, and the Lakes typically closes to visitors for the Qualifying School finals in November. Salou's package hotels thin out in deep winter, which is when the best stay and play resorts in Spain further south earn their keep.

Plan your Costa Daurada golf package

We route the rounds around Infinitum's tournament calendar and the Hills renovation, hold the right Salou and La Pineda hotels at package rates, and book the Cambrils tables that matter as much as the tee times. Tell us roughly when and who is traveling, and one concierge costs it to the head and replies within one working day, with no obligation.

Costa Daurada golf package questions

What are the best golf courses on the Costa Daurada?

Infinitum, the resort formerly known as Lumine, is the anchor: 45 holes across 170 hectares at La Pineda, led by the Greg Norman designed Lakes, which hosted the DP World Tour's ISPS Handa Championship in April 2022 and is the regular home of the tour's Qualifying School finals. The Hills runs through pine forest to the sea cliffs and the nine hole Ruins plays among genuine Roman remains. Beyond the resort, Bonmont Terres Noves at Mont-roig del Camp is a Robert Trent Jones Jr design, Golf Costa Daurada at El Catllar is the friendly club above Tarragona, and Gaudi Reus, the former Reus Aiguesverds, rounds out a strong week.

How much does a Costa Daurada golf package cost?

Indicative operator rates for 2026 start at around 473 to 509 euros per person for three or four Salou nights with breakfast and two rounds, run roughly 810 to 1,227 euros per person for seven nights with four rounds depending on the hotel, and reach about 1,295 euros for a six night festival week with four rounds, dinners and transfers. Single 2026 green fees on Infinitum's Lakes list at around 133 to 148 euros through booking platforms, while Gaudi Reus publishes 50 to 60 euros and Golf Costa Daurada runs about 60 to 85 euros. We are a guide, not an operator, so always confirm directly before booking.

When is the best time to book a Costa Daurada golf break?

April to mid May and mid September into October are the prime windows, and Infinitum prices them accordingly, so book those packages two to three months ahead. July and August are rated lower because the coast turns to beach season, which suits budget groups happy to tee off early. Two diary notes for 2026: the Hills plays as a nine hole loop with the Ruins while a renovation finishes through late September, and the Lakes regularly closes in November for Qualifying School finals, so check tournament dates before locking flights.

Where should you stay for golf on the Costa Daurada?

La Pineda and Salou are the practical bases, minutes from Infinitum with the deepest bench of package hotels, from four star beach properties to the five star Gran Palas beside the resort. To stay where you play, the Westin Bonmont sits inside the Bonmont Terres Noves course at Mont-roig del Camp. For something more characterful, Mas Passamaner near Reus is a modernist farmhouse designed by Lluis Domenech i Montaner turned boutique hotel, and Le Meridien Ra at El Vendrell puts a beachfront spa hotel at the northern end of the coast.
