Who we are

GolfForKings ("we", "us") operates golfforkings.com, an editorial guide and trip planning service. When you ask us to plan a trip, we pass your brief to vetted travel operators and resorts who can quote and arrange it. We are a guide and planner, not a tour operator, and we do not sell your data.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you and improve the guide.

• Trip enquiry details you submit through our forms: your name, email, group size, travel month, nights, budget band, destination interest, and any notes you add.
• Newsletter details if you join The Tee Sheet: your email address, and nothing more.
• Usage data gathered automatically: pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and referring links, through privacy respecting analytics.
• Cookies used for core site function and aggregate analytics. You can refuse non essential cookies in your browser without losing core features.

How we use it

• To reply to your trip brief and connect you with operators who can quote it.
• To send The Tee Sheet if you asked for it, which you can leave at any time.
• To understand which courses, regions and guides readers find useful, so we can write better ones.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of our forms.

Forms and trip enquiries

Our enquiry and newsletter forms are processed through Formspree, which receives the fields you submit and forwards them to us. When you send a trip brief, we share the relevant details with the operators best placed to arrange that trip so they can prepare a quote. We ask you to send only what is needed, and we keep enquiry forms short by design.

Affiliate links and partners

Some links to tee time, hotel and travel partners are affiliate links. If you book through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These partners set their own privacy terms on their own sites; please read them before you book.

How long we keep it

We keep trip enquiry details for as long as needed to help arrange your trip and for our records, then remove them. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregated and retained in summary form only.

Your choices and rights

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Leave The Tee Sheet at any time using the unsubscribe link in every issue.
• Refuse or clear cookies through your browser settings.

To exercise any of these, contact us through the trip planner and mark your message for our privacy team. We respond within a reasonable period.

Children

GolfForKings is intended for adults planning golf travel. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy as the guide grows. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
