The Best Golf for a Corporate Day in Thailand

Thailand was built for hosting. World class caddies, clubhouses that do lunch and ceremony with equal ease, and a cluster of championship courses within an hour of Bangkok make it one of Asia's finest places to entertain clients or reward a team. These are the six courses we put forward first for a corporate golf day, ranked.

How we chose them

A great corporate day is about more than the golf. It needs an easy run from the city so guests are not lost to traffic, a clubhouse that can stage a lunch, a briefing or an award, caddies and carts that keep a mixed group moving, and a course that flatters the occasional player while still giving the keen golfers a real test. We weighed all of that, then leaned hardest on the courses that simply impress, the ones a client remembers.

Every designer and detail here was checked at the time of writing, and the order is our editorial view. We have favored the Bangkok belt, where access is the difference between a relaxed day and a rushed one, and noted where a course is private or needs an introduction. Tell us your group, your date and your budget and our concierge arranges the tee times, the catering and the transfers as one package.

The ranking

01

Thai Country Club

Denis Griffiths, 1996 · Chachoengsao, about 45 minutes east of Bangkok · par 72

The benchmark corporate venue in Thailand. Denis Griffiths built a championship par 72 of around 7,150 yards on a generous, beautifully kept site, and it is forever linked to Tiger Woods, who won his first professional title in Asia here in 1997. The lavish clubhouse, the service and the prestige make it the round you book when the day has to make an impression. Access can be arranged through the right channels.

02

Amata Spring Country Club

Schmidt · Curley, 2005 · Chonburi, about an hour southeast of Bangkok · par 72

The most exclusive golf in the country and a regular host of professional and invitational events. The Schmidt and Curley layout runs to about 7,450 yards and is famous for its floating island green at the par 5 closing stretch, reached by boat. It is a private members club, so a corporate day here needs an introduction, but for a marquee occasion nothing in Thailand carries more weight.

03

Alpine Golf Club

Ron Garl, 1992 · Pathum Thani, about 40 minutes north of Bangkok · par 72

A long standing favorite for company days thanks to its closeness to the city and its immaculate, almost botanical conditioning. Ron Garl's rolling parkland is played among palms and water, a fair test for all standards with a strong clubhouse for hosting. Tiger Woods has played here too, and the combination of access and polish keeps it on every corporate shortlist around Bangkok.

04

Nikanti Golf Club

Opened 2015 · Nakhon Pathom, about 40 minutes west of Bangkok · par 72

The smartest hospitality play in Bangkok golf. Nikanti charges a single all inclusive price that covers the round, the caddie, the cart, the food and the drinks, which removes the awkward end of day arithmetic that can spoil a corporate outing. The course is modern, well groomed and comfortably playable, and the dining is a genuine highlight, making it ideal for entertaining mixed groups.

05

Siam Country Club, Old Course

Schmidt · Curley redesign, 2007 · Pattaya, about 90 minutes to two hours from Bangkok · par 72

For a bigger group or a golf focused offsite, the Siam complex near Pattaya is hard to beat, with the celebrated Old Course alongside the Plantation and Waterside layouts on one estate. The Old, redesigned by Schmidt and Curley and a long time LPGA host, has a closing stretch local players call the Amen Corner of Thai golf. Better as the heart of an overnight than a single day from the city.

06

Riverdale Golf Club

Pathum Thani, about 40 minutes north of Bangkok · par 72

A scenic, well run club beside the Chao Phraya floodplain that has become a popular event and society venue near the capital. The par 72 plays around water and mounding with a dramatic finish, the facilities suit a group day, and the proximity to Bangkok and the northern hotels makes the logistics simple. A reliable, good value choice to round out the shortlist.

Corporate golf in Thailand: questions

Which golf course is best for a corporate day in Thailand?

Thai Country Club, about 45 minutes east of Bangkok, is the classic corporate choice. The Denis Griffiths design where Tiger Woods won his first professional title in Asia pairs championship golf with a lavish clubhouse and the prestige a client day wants. Amata Spring, with its floating island green, is the more exclusive alternative where access can be arranged.

How far are the best corporate courses from Bangkok?

Most of the marquee courses sit within an hour of central Bangkok. Alpine Golf Club and Riverdale are about 40 minutes north in Pathum Thani, Nikanti is around 40 minutes west in Nakhon Pathom, Thai Country Club is roughly 45 minutes east, and Amata Spring is about an hour southeast. Siam Country Club at Pattaya is around 90 minutes to two hours, better suited to a stay than a single day out.

What makes a course good for a corporate golf day?

Easy access from the city, a clubhouse that can host lunch and presentations, caddies and carts for a smooth pace, and a course that flatters guests of mixed ability while still impressing the keen golfers. Thailand excels here: the caddie culture, the dining and the conditioning are built for hosting, which is why it is one of Asia's leading destinations for client and team golf.

How much does a corporate golf day in Thailand cost in 2026?

Green fees at the top Bangkok courses are an indicative 3,000 to 6,500 baht for 2026, with caddie and cart fees and gratuities on top, and the most exclusive clubs higher again. Nikanti uses a single all inclusive price that covers meals and drinks. Group, package and weekday rates change with season, so always confirm directly before booking.
