How we chose

How we ranked the best corporate golf venues in Morocco

A corporate day in Morocco has a lot going for it: two and a half hours from much of Europe, a warm winter when northern courses are closed, tour level golf, and a culture, cuisine and medina that make the evenings as good as the round. We judged each venue on the quality of the course first, then on the things an event needs, easy group booking, a range for a clinic, buggies and caddies, and a clubhouse or resort with the dining and meeting space to host a company.

Two cities anchor the list. Rabat, the capital, has the historic Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, the country's grandest venue and a DP World Tour host. Marrakech is the modern corporate hub, a cluster of resort courses by Kyle Phillips, Cabell Robinson, Nicklaus Design and others within a short drive of the city's five star hotels, which is where most company groups base themselves. The coast adds a large beach resort for a conference led trip. The verdicts are ours, and we have flagged how each venue handles groups.

The ranking

The seven best corporate golf venues in Morocco

From a DP World Tour host in Rabat to the five star resort courses of Marrakech, ranked with our verdicts and what each delivers for a company event.

01

Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, Red Course

Rabat · Robert Trent Jones Sr, 1971 · DP World Tour host

The most prestigious golf in Morocco and the obvious flagship for a corporate day. The Red Course, a Robert Trent Jones Senior design from 1971, plays through a magnificent cork oak forest in the capital and hosts the Hassan II Trophy on the DP World Tour. A long, stately par 73 with the history, the conditioning and the clubhouse to make a company event feel grand. A short transfer from Rabat's hotels, and the round the group will talk about.

02

Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech

Marrakech · Cabell Robinson · five star resort

The luxury Marrakech choice, a Cabell Robinson course set within a Fairmont resort against the backdrop of the snow capped Atlas Mountains, with the hotel, spa, dining and meeting space all on site. An immaculate, generous layout that flatters a mixed ability group, wrapped in the kind of five star hospitality a high end incentive or client day calls for. The on property hotel turns a single day into an effortless overnight stay.

03

Amelkis Golf Club

Marrakech · Cabell Robinson · twenty seven holes

A long established Marrakech favorite and a regular tournament venue, twenty seven Cabell Robinson holes among olive groves and villas a short drive from the city, with Atlas views from many tees. The three nine hole loops flex to a group's size and ability, and the club is well used to hosting events. A reliable, well conditioned and centrally located pick that makes the logistics of a corporate day simple.

04

Assoufid Golf Club

Marrakech · Niall Cameron, 2014 · desert layout

The most modern and dramatic round near Marrakech, a Niall Cameron desert design opened in 2014 that uses the natural dunes and arid landscape with uninterrupted views of the Atlas Mountains and not a building in sight. Stylish, peaceful and a genuine design talking point, it gives a corporate day a contemporary, exclusive feel. The standout when the brief is a memorable, photogenic course away from the resort crowds.

05

Al Maaden Golf Resort

Marrakech · Kyle Phillips · design led resort

A Kyle Phillips design on the edge of Marrakech, known for its lakes, contemporary art dotted around the property and big, strategic greens against the Atlas backdrop. The work of the architect behind Kingsbarns brings real pedigree, and the resort setting supplies the clubhouse and hospitality a group needs. A smart, design led venue that plays well for company days of mixed standards and looks the part for the photographs.

06

Mazagan Beach Resort

El Jadida · Gary Player · beach resort, conference

The choice for a large conference led event, a Gary Player links style course on the Atlantic coast at El Jadida, around ninety minutes from Casablanca, within a vast beach resort with a hotel, casino, spa and convention facilities. The seaside setting cools the summer heat that bothers the inland courses, and everything the group needs is on one property. When the trip is built around meetings and a big field, Mazagan handles it with room to spare.

07

Samanah Country Club

Marrakech · Nicklaus Design · resort, country club

A Nicklaus Design course at a private country club and resort on the road out of Marrakech toward the Atlas, with a relaxed, exclusive members' club feel and the mountains filling the horizon. Spacious, well kept and quieter than the city courses, it suits a corporate group that wants a calm, polished day with privacy. A refined alternative when the brief favors exclusivity and space over a tournament name.

Costs and access

Access, the season and what it costs

Every venue here is a resort or pay and play course that welcomes group bookings, so there are no private membership barriers to navigate, and several have an on site hotel that makes an overnight incentive simple. Marrakech is the practical base for most corporate groups because the hotels, restaurants and the airport are all close to a choice of courses, while Rabat is the call when Royal Dar Es Salam and its prestige are the point. The coast at El Jadida suits a larger, conference led trip.

The best season is the cooler half of the year, October to April, when the inland courses are warm and comfortable for a full day; high summer is very hot away from the coast. Budget by the headline green fee, add catering, caddies and hospitality, and ask for a group rate. The figures below are indicative per round green fees for the 2026 season to set the budget.

Good to know

Corporate golf in Morocco: common questions

What is the best course for a corporate golf day in Morocco?

Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat is the most prestigious venue, a Robert Trent Jones Senior design from 1971 that hosts the Hassan II Trophy on the DP World Tour, with the cork forest setting and clubhouse to make a corporate day feel like an occasion. For a Marrakech base, where the hotels and the nightlife are, the Fairmont Royal Palm and Amelkis are the leading event venues.

Is Marrakech good for a corporate golf trip?

Yes. Marrakech is Morocco's corporate golf capital, with a cluster of modern resort courses by Kyle Phillips, Cabell Robinson, Nicklaus Design and others within a short drive of the city's five star hotels, restaurants and the famous medina. The mild winter season, the direct flights from Europe and the off course experience make it an easy and characterful incentive destination.

How much does a corporate golf day in Morocco cost in 2026?

Indicative 2026 visitor green fees at the leading courses run from roughly €50 to €120 per player, before group rates, catering and hospitality, with Royal Dar Es Salam and the marquee Marrakech resorts at the upper end. Caddies are common and inexpensive. Package and group rates lower the per head cost. Always confirm directly before booking.

When is the best time for a corporate golf day in Morocco?

The best months are the cooler half of the year, roughly October to April, when Marrakech and Rabat are warm and pleasant for a full day of golf. The high summer is very hot inland, so events shift to early morning play or the cooler coast. Spring and autumn give the best mix of weather, daylight and value.
