Who this trip suits
Mexico is where serious golf meets the all inclusive holiday without compromise on either. The Riviera Maya and Cancun pack tour grade courses beside huge full board resorts, while Los Cabos answers with drier, more dramatic golf for those who want a step up in luxury.
- Couples and families who want one golfer happy on the course and everyone else happy on the beach, all in.
- Buddies groups who want PGA Tour grade golf with food and drink already paid for back at base.
- North American and European travelers chasing winter sun on short to medium flights.
- Anyone weighing the jungle and Caribbean of the Riviera Maya against the desert and Pacific of Los Cabos.
The resorts and courses to build around
Every fact below was checked at the time of writing. Green fees are indicative and seasonal, so treat them as a guide rather than a quote.

El Camaleon, Mayakoba
The first PGA Tour course in Mexico, threading jungle, mangrove and Caribbean shore. Famous for the Devil's Mouth bunker on the opening hole. Played from the Mayakoba resorts.

Moon Palace, Cancun
A Nicklaus design across three nines attached to one of Cancun's largest all inclusive resorts, the simplest one roof golf and beach base on the coast.
Playa Mujeres
A Norman layout among lagoons and mangroves, ringed by all inclusive resorts just north of Cancun and an easy pick for a relaxed week.
Iberostar Playa Paraiso
A P. B. Dye design carved through jungle and limestone cenotes, with the Iberostar all inclusive cluster on the doorstep.
Puerto Los Cabos
Desert and ocean golf on the Sea of Cortez, paired with adult focused luxury all inclusive resorts for the upscale Pacific option.
Vidanta Riviera Maya
A walkable resort course inside a large all inclusive complex near Playa del Carmen, handy for shorter golf days between beach and pool.
A sample structure
One way to shape a Riviera Maya week from an all inclusive base. We tune the order to your tee times, resort and handicaps, never the other way around.
Land at Cancun and settle into the all inclusive. A gentle round at Vidanta or Playa Paraiso to acclimatize in the heat, then a pool afternoon.
The marquee round at El Camaleon in Mayakoba, the PGA Tour holes through jungle and along the Caribbean. Long lunch at the resort afterward.
A rest day for a cenote swim, the reef or Tulum, then an easy twilight nine to keep the swing ticking over.
Add Moon Palace or Playa Mujeres up toward Cancun, then free days to split between golf, beach and the all inclusive before flying home.

Best time to go and to book
The dry season from December to April is the prime window across both coasts, with warm, settled days and the lowest chance of rain. May and November are quieter shoulder months and still excellent. June to October overlaps the Atlantic hurricane season on the Caribbean side, bringing hotter, wetter afternoons and softer prices, while Los Cabos stays drier but very hot in late summer. Book El Camaleon and the marquee Los Cabos courses four to eight weeks ahead in winter, and lock all inclusive rooms earlier still for the Christmas, New Year and spring break windows.
