A Colin Montgomerie designed links style course set among coastal pines midway between Da Nang and Hoi An, with its own villas and an easy, walkable layout. A dramatic Greg Norman dunes course on the south coast near Ho Tram, with huge sand hills tumbling down to the sea and a five star beach resort and casino beside it. For a couple combining the city with a luxury beach and golf escape in the south, this is the pick.
The Greg Norman designed Dunes course at Danang Golf Club is a genuine links beside the beach just south of the city, firm, breezy and highly rated since it opened. It is the most central championship round on the Da Nang coast, minutes from the resorts and the airport, which makes it an easy add for a couple already on this stretch. A pure links test to round out a central Vietnam trip.
