Lykia Links
The one Turkish course that is genuinely a links. Perry Dye built it on sandy ground hard against the Mediterranean east of Belek, with pot bunkers, waste areas and the sea itself in play. In a region of polished, tree lined resort courses, Lykia Links is the wild card and the most distinctive round in the country.

The verdict
Most golf in the Antalya region is inland resort golf: lush, manicured, tree lined parkland threaded between five star hotels at Belek. Lykia Links is the exception. Sited at Denizyaka, around 35 minutes east of the main Belek strip and right on the Mediterranean shore, it was designed by the American architect Perry Dye to be the first and only true seaside links in Turkey. The sandy soil, the firm running turf, the pot bunkers and the broad waste areas all belong to a different tradition than the courses up the coast.
It is also a Dye family course, which means it does not shy away from drama. There are railway sleepers and severe shaping in places, a large waste area Dye called the beach, and dozens of revetted pot bunkers cut into the dunes. At a par of 73 and around 6,950 meters from the tips it is a big, exposed examination, but the multiple tees make it playable for the holidaying golfer. For anyone touring Turkey who wants something other than another immaculate parkland, this is the round that stands apart.

Designer, layout, par and yardage verified June 2026 from the club and leading course databases. Lykia Links plays to a par of 73 of around 6,950 meters from the championship tees, with several forward tees. Green fees are indicative, around 90 pounds for 18 holes in the 2026 season. Fees and opening change by season and year, and the resort has flagged renovation work, so always confirm directly before booking.
The holes worth the trip
Lykia Links plays to a risk and reward template that runs right through Dye design. The fairways are framed by sandy waste and mounding, the bunkers are deep and steep faced in the British links manner, and the greens are firm enough to demand a thought out approach rather than a flighted dart that simply stops. When the sea breeze gets up, as it does most afternoons, the exposed holes along the water turn the par 73 into a genuine fight.
The closing stretch beside the Mediterranean is the signature, with the sea forming the backdrop and, on a couple of holes, the hazard itself. The large waste area Dye nicknamed the beach is an unusual feature for a Turkish course and a striking one, demanding a clear strategy off the tee. There is enough width to keep the average golfer in play from the right tee, but enough teeth to make the better player respect every shot.
For the travelling golfer, Lykia Links is the contrast course on a Turkey trip. Pair it with the championship parklands of Belek for variety, or build a few rounds around it for a different feel entirely. It is one of the most photographed and most talked about courses in the country precisely because it does not look or play like anything else nearby.

Lykia Links questions
Who designed Lykia Links?
Lykia Links was designed by the American architect Perry Dye, of the famous Dye golf design family. It opened as the first and only true seaside links course in Turkey, built to take advantage of the natural sandy terrain along the Mediterranean coast east of Belek.
What is the par and length of Lykia Links?

Is Lykia Links a real links course?
It is the closest thing Turkey has to true links golf. Built on sandy ground directly along the Mediterranean shore, it has the firm turf, pot bunkers, waste areas and sea wind of a links, which sets it apart from the inland, tree lined resort courses of the main Belek strip.
Can visitors play Lykia Links?
