Who it suits

Polished golf, beaches and a grown up pace

Naples is the upscale answer to a Florida golf trip. The region holds one of the densest concentrations of golf in America, and while much of it sits behind private gates, the public access tier is led by a true tournament venue and backed by beach resorts, spas and the best dining on the Gulf coast.

It suits couples and small groups who want their golf with white sand, good wine and Gulf of Mexico sunsets, and golfers pairing a Naples base with the wider Florida swing. The trade off is honesty about access: the famous private clubs stay private, so the week is built around the resort tier.

The line up

The Naples courses to build around

Anchor the trip on Tiburon and Old Corkscrew, then fill the week from the resort tier that suits your base and budget.

01

Tiburon Golf Club, Gold and Black

North Naples · Greg Norman, 36 holes · Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburon

The region's marquee public access golf and a genuine tournament address: the Gold course hosts the LPGA's CME Group Tour Championship and the Grant Thornton Invitational. Stay at the Ritz-Carlton on property for the smoothest access to both courses.

02

Old Corkscrew

Estero · Jack Nicklaus signature · Daily fee

A standalone Nicklaus design carved through wetlands and old cypress twenty five minutes north, widely held to be the best daily fee round in Southwest Florida. No real estate, no gates, just a stern and beautiful examination.

03

Naples Grande and Raptor Bay

Naples and Bonita Springs · Premium resort tier

The dependable resort pairing: Naples Grande's tight, jungly parkland minutes from the beach hotels, and Raptor Bay by Hyatt Regency Coconut Point to the north, an easy, walkable resort course for the relaxed day of the week.

04

Lely Resort, Flamingo Island and Mustang

East Naples · 36 public resort holes

The value play of the Naples public tier, two well kept resort courses with proper variety between them. In winter they carry real demand, so book them as deliberately as the headline rounds.

05

The beach bases

Naples and Marco Island · Gulf front resorts

Naples beachfront resorts put Fifth Avenue South, the pier and the Gulf sunsets on your doorstep with the golf a short drive inland, while Marco Island to the south adds a quieter island feel for the back half of a week.

06

The private club reality

Calusa Pines, Talis Park, Mediterra · Members only

Southwest Florida's highest ranked courses are private and stay that way; Calusa Pines and Talis Park top the lists but do not sell tee times. Treat any access as a bonus through personal connections, and build the trip on the resort tier above.

When to book

November to April, booked early

High season runs November to April, with December to March the sweet spot of dry air, low 80s sunshine and tournament conditioning. It is also when all of America wants the same tee times, so lock the marquee rounds and the beachfront rooms months ahead, especially around the holidays and the LPGA's CME week in November.

Summer halves the cost for those who can play at dawn and dodge the afternoon storms. A car is worth having for Old Corkscrew and the spread of the region, though a single Naples base keeps daily drives under forty minutes.

Good to know

Naples golf holidays: common questions

What are the best courses you can actually play in Naples?

Tiburon Golf Club at the Ritz-Carlton Naples is the marquee public access venue, with 36 Greg Norman holes and an LPGA and PGA Tour pedigree. Old Corkscrew in Estero, a standalone Jack Nicklaus design, is the standout daily fee round, with Naples Grande, Raptor Bay and the Lely Resort courses filling out the week. Many of the region's most famous courses, such as Calusa Pines and Talis Park, are private.

When is the best time for a Naples golf holiday?

November to April is the season: dry, sunny days in the low 80s Fahrenheit, courses in tournament condition and the town at its liveliest. It is also peak pricing and peak demand, so book well ahead for December to March. Summer brings heat, humidity and afternoon storms, with green fees falling to a fraction of winter rates.

How much does a Naples golf trip cost in 2026?

Tiburon prices dynamically from roughly $99 in summer to $300 and up in peak winter, with the premium daily fee courses around $145 to $250 in season. A four to seven night stay and play with three to five rounds and a quality hotel commonly runs from around $2,000 to $4,500 per golfer in peak 2026 season before flights. These are third party ranges, not our prices; always confirm directly before booking.

Is Naples good for non golfers too?

Very. Naples pairs its golf with Gulf of Mexico beaches, the boutiques and restaurants of Fifth Avenue South, spa resorts and easy day trips to the Everglades and Marco Island, which makes it one of Florida's best destinations for couples and family golf trips.
