New Golf Courses in Turkey, 2026
Turkish golf has long meant Belek. In 2026 that changes, as the Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme course is set to open the southwest coast as a new golf region, the first course the Dalaman area has ever had.

A new region for Turkish golf
For two decades almost every new course in Turkey landed in one place: Belek, the purpose built resort coast east of Antalya that now holds the bulk of the country’s championship golf. The genuinely new story of 2026 sits two hundred miles to the west, on the quieter Mediterranean coast near Dalaman.
The Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort and Spa is set to open an 18 hole course in June 2026, the first golf course the Dalaman and Sarigerme area has ever had. It is the most significant new build in Turkey this year, and it opens up a second golf region in a country that has effectively had only one.

Inside the new Dalaman course
The course
The new layout is a par 72 designed by the International Design Group, measuring about 6,152 metres, or roughly 6,728 yards, from the back tees. It is built on natural sandy soil with sustainability at the centre of the build, and it sits on a site bordered by the beach resort to the south and a river to the west, with sweeping uninterrupted views over the Mediterranean. The site is a 20 minute drive from Dalaman International Airport, which makes it unusually easy to reach.
Why it matters
Dalaman and Sarigerme have always been a beach and yachting corner of Turkey rather than a golf one. Adding a championship course gives the region its first real golf anchor and a reason for traveling golfers to look beyond Belek. For anyone who has played the Antalya coast and wants somewhere new, this is the headline reason to consider the southwest in 2026.
The rest of the Turkish scene
Belek itself is not opening a new course this year, but it remains the densest golf coast in the country, with Carya, the Montgomerie Maxx Royal, Sueno, Gloria, Cornelia and the Antalya Golf Club all within a short drive of each other. For 2026 the established Belek courses continue to carry the bulk of Turkey’s golf tourism, while Dalaman becomes the place to watch.
Our take
For the traveling golfer, the message of 2026 is that Turkey is finally a two region golf destination. The Dalaman opening is the year’s genuine new build, and an early visit means seeing a course before it settles in. As with any new opening, treat the June 2026 date as a target and confirm directly before building a trip around it.
Our advice is to think of Dalaman as an addition to the Turkish map rather than a replacement for Belek, which still offers the deepest rota of championship courses and the best value all inclusive packages. Our Turkey destination hub and the best courses in Turkey list are the places to anchor a plan, and our team can fold the new Dalaman course into a trip as access firms up.
