4 Day Dubai and Abu Dhabi Golf Itinerary

The tight, no waste version of the Gulf's best golf: the Majlis at Emirates Golf Club and the skyline framed Dubai Creek from a Dubai base, then 90 minutes down the coast for Yas Links, the UAE's world top 100 entry, and the falcon crowned National at Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Four rounds, two cities, zero internal flights. Here is the day by day, indicative 2026 fees and when to go.

Who this trip suits

This is the long weekend with intent: four championship rounds across the two Gulf cities most travelers already fly through, built for golfers stopping over between Europe, Asia or Australia, or escaping a northern winter without losing a week of leave. The golf is uniformly immaculate, carts and good caddies or forecaddies are easy, English is the working language, and every course on the route has hosted or currently hosts professional tour golf. Tee off at dawn, and by lunch you are at a beach club, the Louvre Abu Dhabi or the top of the Burj Khalifa.

It also slots neatly against our longer five day Dubai and Abu Dhabi itinerary, which adds a desert course and a rest day; this four day cut is the version for golfers who measure trips in rounds per night. Two nights in each city, one 90 minute transfer in the middle, and departure from either airport since Dubai International and Abu Dhabi's Zayed International both work as exits. Couples can balance it with spa afternoons; a four ball can play it as pure golf.

The 4 day plan

Day 1The Majlis

Arrive in Dubai, the Majlis at Emirates Golf Club

Karl Litten 1988 · Dubai Desert Classic host · about AED 995 to 1,100 peak

Land early or the night before and open on the Majlis, Karl Litten's 1988 landmark, the Middle East's first grass championship course and the longtime home of the Dubai Desert Classic. Indicative 2026 winter fees run about AED 995 off peak to 1,100 at peak, and note the club's walking only policy in the deepest winter weeks, a rare pleasure in the Gulf. The Marina skyline behind the 8th is the trip's first postcard.

Day 2Dubai Creek

Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club

DP World Tour venue · creek and skyline · about $225 to $247, twilight near AED 460

Stay city side for Dubai Creek, host of the DP World Tour's Dubai Invitational, where the closing holes run hard against the saltwater creek under the sail shaped clubhouse. Indicative 2026 base fees are about 225 US dollars weekdays and 247 at weekends with a shared cart included, and twilight visitor rates around AED 460 make a late round the value play. Old Dubai, the souks and a dhow dinner are ten minutes away.

Day 3Yas Links

Transfer to Abu Dhabi, Yas Links

Kyle Phillips 2010 · world top 100 · about AED 880 to 1,100 peak direct

Drive the 90 minutes to the capital and go straight to Yas Links, Kyle Phillips's 2010 creation along the Yas Island shore and, for many judges, the best course in the UAE, now a world top 100 regular and host of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship since 2022. Mangroves, sea breeze and true links contours; indicative 2026 peak fees run roughly AED 880 to 1,100 booked direct, with off peak slots far less. Sleep on Yas Island, with Ferrari World and the marina on the doorstep.

Day 4National, depart

Abu Dhabi Golf Club National, then fly home

Falcon clubhouse · HSBC Championship host 2006 to 2021 · from about AED 530 off peak

Finish at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, whose National course staged the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship from 2006 to 2021 beneath the giant falcon clubhouse. It is the most playable round of the four, generous parkland fairways with championship greens, and indicative 2026 fees start around AED 530 off peak, rising through the winter. An early tee time leaves the afternoon for the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque before an evening flight from Zayed International, or the run back up to Dubai.

When to go and how to run it

October to April is the season: warm, dry, tournament conditioned, and priced accordingly, with January and February the glamour weeks around the professional events, when tee sheets tighten and the Majlis goes walking only. May to September is fiercely hot but absurdly good value, playable at first light with summer rates often half the winter card. Run the trip with a driver or the excellent ride hailing apps rather than a hire car; no transfer on this route exceeds 90 minutes and parking, tolls and navigation become someone else's problem. Book the Yas Links and Majlis times first, dress codes are enforced everywhere, and carry a layer for the over chilled clubhouses rather than the weather.

Plan your 4 day UAE trip

Tell us roughly when and who is travelling, and one concierge locks the Majlis, Creek, Yas Links and National tee times, books the two bases, arranges the transfer and costs the four days to the head. Winter slots go early, so the sooner we start the better, with no obligation.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi itinerary questions

Can you play Dubai and Abu Dhabi golf in 4 days?

Comfortably. The two cities are about 90 minutes apart by road, so a four day trip splits cleanly: two nights in Dubai for the Majlis at Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Creek, then two in Abu Dhabi for Yas Links and Abu Dhabi Golf Club's National course. Tee off early, sightsee in the afternoons, and fly home from either airport. Always confirm tee times and rates directly before booking.

How much are green fees in Dubai and Abu Dhabi?

Budget roughly AED 3,000 to 4,000 for this four round route in indicative 2026 fees. The Majlis runs about AED 995 to 1,100 in winter peak, Dubai Creek about 225 to 250 US dollars with twilight visitor rates near AED 460, Yas Links roughly AED 880 to 1,100 at peak when booked direct, and Abu Dhabi Golf Club from around AED 530 off peak, rising in winter. Carts are included at most clubs. Always confirm current rates directly before booking.

When is the best time for a UAE golf trip?

October to April is the season, with warm dry days and the courses in tournament condition; it is also when fees peak, and note the Majlis runs a walking only policy in the deep winter weeks. May to September is very hot, played early morning at sharply reduced summer rates. Always confirm conditions and rates before booking.

Is Yas Links worth the trip from Dubai?

Yes. Kyle Phillips shaped Yas Links along the Yas Island shoreline in 2010 and it now sits in most world top 100 lists, the best course in the UAE for many judges, with mangrove edged links style holes and sea breeze on every nine. It is about 60 to 75 minutes from central Dubai, easily done as a day trip, though this itinerary pairs it with a night on Yas Island. Always confirm tee times directly before booking.
