The Best Golf for a Corporate Day in Dubai

No city does the event golf day quite like Dubai. The marquee clubs were built for tournaments and clients alike: floodlit ranges, fleets of buggies, air conditioned function rooms and a clubhouse that can host a prize giving and a dinner. Add winter sunshine and a half hour drive between most of them and you have the easiest big group golf in the world. Here are the seven venues we rate most highly for a corporate or society day, ranked.

How we chose them

A corporate day asks more of a venue than a great course. It needs width off the tee for a field of mixed handicaps, a buggy fleet that can move the whole group at once, real catering, and a clubhouse with the function space to run a registration, a shotgun start and a prize giving without anyone leaving the property. We weighed tournament pedigree against group logistics, and we leaned toward clubs with the infrastructure, the buggies and the access to make a day of twelve to forty players easy, while keeping a place or two for prestige rounds worth the extra organizing.

Every designer, host event and opening year here was checked at the time of writing, and each venue is described by what makes a group day work rather than by raw difficulty. The verdicts and the order are ours. Tell us your numbers and your date and one concierge builds and costs the day, from the tee times to the trophies.

The ranking

01

Jumeirah Golf Estates

Greg Norman, Fire and Earth courses · Dubailand · par 72

The premier event venue in Dubai, with two Greg Norman championship courses and the pedigree of hosting the season ending DP World Tour Championship for over a decade. The Earth is the headline test at more than 7,700 yards from the tips, but both courses play fairly from forward markers, and the academy, the clubhouses and the on site logistics handle a large society with ease. For a day that has to impress, this is the first call.

02

Emirates Golf Club, Majlis Course

Karl Litten, 1988 · Sheikh Zayed Road, central Dubai · par 72

The original grass course in the desert and home of the Dubai Desert Classic, the Majlis is the city's most famous round, with the second Faldo course alongside it for scale. Its central location off Sheikh Zayed Road makes it the most convenient marquee venue for a group based downtown, and the clubhouse, ranges and event team are built for tournament weeks. A two course club with genuine history is hard to beat for a society.

03

Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club

Championship parkland · Deira, beside Dubai Creek · par 71

Defined by its landmark sail shaped clubhouse on the water, Dubai Creek is the most central of the championship clubs and a long standing professional venue. The parkland layout is generous enough for a mixed field, the marina and dining make for a memorable evening, and the location near the old town suits a corporate group that wants golf and the city in one place. A polished, photogenic choice for a client day.

04

Trump International Golf Club Dubai

Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, 2017 · Damac Hills · par 71

The newest of the marquee layouts, a Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner design of around 7,300 yards that brought a modern, strategic test to Dubai when it opened. The conditioning is immaculate, the floodlit back nine allows late afternoon and evening play through the warmer months, and the clubhouse handles events in style. A strong pick for a group that wants a contemporary championship course rather than a resort.

05

The Address Montgomerie

Colin Montgomerie · Emirates Hills · par 72

Named for its designer Colin Montgomerie, this Emirates Hills layout is known for its water, with fourteen lakes and a famously huge greenside bunker, and for the hotel on site that makes a stay and play simple. It is central, well run and used to corporate groups, with a links influenced feel unusual for the region. A reliable, convenient venue when the brief is a smart day close to the new downtown.

06

The Els Club Dubai

Ernie Els · Dubai Sports City · par 72

Ernie Els designed this links influenced desert course, widely praised for the quality and condition of its large, undulating greens. It is a serious, stylish test with a strong clubhouse and event facilities, set in Dubai Sports City. The challenge keeps better players interested while the width off the tee keeps a mixed field moving, making it a smart choice for a golf serious corporate group.

07

Arabian Ranches Golf Club

Ian Baker-Finch with Nicklaus Design · Arabian Ranches · par 72

One of the most popular desert style clubs in Dubai, an Ian Baker-Finch and Nicklaus Design layout that lets the natural terrain and sand frame the holes. It is relaxed, well kept and good value relative to the marquee venues, with a comfortable clubhouse for a function. The pick for a group that wants a genuine desert golf experience and a straightforward, sociable day rather than a championship grind.

Corporate golf in Dubai: questions

What is the best course for a corporate golf day in Dubai?

Jumeirah Golf Estates is the standout, with two Greg Norman championship courses, the Fire and the Earth, a long history of hosting the season ending DP World Tour Championship, and the event space and academy to run a large corporate group. Emirates Golf Club, home of the Dubai Desert Classic on its Majlis course, is the next call for central convenience and tournament pedigree.

How big a group can these venues handle?

The multi course resorts, especially Jumeirah Golf Estates and Emirates Golf Club with two courses each, comfortably handle anything from a client foursome to a society of forty or more, with shotgun starts, buggy fleets, catering and air conditioned function space. The more exclusive clubs suit smaller, high end groups. We match the venue to your numbers.

How much does a corporate golf day in Dubai cost?

It depends on the course, the season and the extras. Peak season green fees on the marquee Dubai venues are among the highest in the region, while summer rates fall sharply with early tee times to beat the heat. Packages add catering, prizes and stays. We cost the whole day to the head once we know the group; these figures are indicative for the 2026 season and you should always confirm directly before booking.

When is the best time for a corporate golf trip to Dubai?

November to March is the prime window, with warm, dry days and the courses in peak condition, which is also when the Dubai Desert Classic is played. It is the busiest and dearest season, so book early. April and October are warm shoulder months with better value, while high summer is very hot and best played at dawn or under floodlights.
