La Manga Club, South Course
The championship course of Spain's most famous golf resort and the reason Murcia became a golf destination. Robert Putman laid it out in 1971 through the floor of the valley, Arnold Palmer remodeled it in 1992, and it staged the Spanish Open across the 1970s. Wide palm lined fairways give way to water on most of the back nine, and the scale and conditioning still mark it out as the region's benchmark. Pair it with the resort's North and West courses for a complete 54 hole base.
