Luxury Golf Tours of England

The members courses of the London heathland, a Ryder Cup stage and a five star resort, joined by private transfers and the best hotels in the country. A luxury tour of England is about access and comfort as much as the golf. Here is who it suits, the courses to build around, a sample week and what it costs.

Who it suits

A luxury tour of England is for golfers who want the great private clubs without the friction of arranging them. Sunningdale and Wentworth are members courses that rarely take a casual visitor, and getting on at the right time, with a caddie and a table in the dining room, is exactly the kind of access we handle. The reward is some of the finest heathland golf in the world, all within an hour of London.

It suits couples, discerning buddies groups and corporate days in equal measure. The base is a five star hotel rather than a golf lodge, the travel is by private car rather than a shared minibus, and the week can fold in London itself, the Thames valley or a night near Birmingham for the Ryder Cup history at The Belfry. Strong golf, civilized to the last detail.

Questions

Can I play Sunningdale and Wentworth as a visitor?

Both are private members clubs that admit a limited number of visitors. Sunningdale welcomes visitors Monday to Thursday with a reservation, and the Old Course indicative green fee was around 395 pounds in 2025. Wentworth's West Course is generally played as a member's guest. We secure the access as part of the tour.

When is the best time for a golf tour of England?

May to September is the heart of the season, with the heathland courses south of London at their fast running best in late spring and early autumn. Sunningdale closes to visitors for much of high summer, so plan May, June or September for the widest access.

Where do these courses sit and how do I get around?

The Grove, Sunningdale and Wentworth all sit within an hour of central London and Heathrow, in the heathland belt of Surrey, Berkshire and Hertfordshire. The Belfry is near Birmingham, around two hours north, linked by private transfer.
