Who this trip suits

All inclusive golf in the United States is less about a single beach resort and more about choosing a great golf destination, booking a stay and play package that bundles your rounds, room and meals into one figure, and arriving with nothing to arrange on the ground. The country spans a dozen distinct golf regions, from the pine forests of North Carolina to the Oregon coast, and the best resorts have been doing this kind of integrated trip for decades.

  • Groups who want to tick off a bucket list venue, Pebble Beach, Pinehurst No. 2 or Bandon Dunes, and build a full trip around it.
  • Golfers who prefer a single, self-contained campus where the courses, the lodge and the restaurant are all within walking distance of each other.
  • Couples and mixed groups who want resort amenities alongside the golf, spas, fine dining and lake or coastal settings.
  • Society trips and buddy groups looking for a structured itinerary where the cost is fixed per head before departure.
  • Anyone who finds that mixing golf across multiple cities and hotels rarely produces the seamless week they imagined at the planning stage.

A sample structure

A six night, five round Streamsong and Kiawah combination covering two of the most self-contained stay and play resorts in the American southeast. We adapt the routing, tee times and hotel to your group size and handicaps.

Day 1

Arrive at Tampa and transfer to Streamsong Resort, Fort Meade, about 75 miles southeast. Afternoon check in, welcome dinner at Waterline or Leadbelly, an early night before the golf begins.

Day 2

Streamsong Red, the Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw design across the undulating former phosphate terrain. Walk if you can. Lunch at the halfway house, then a relaxed evening at the resort bar. Indicative green fee: included in your stay and play package rate.

Day 3

Streamsong Blue in the morning, Tom Doak's companion layout on the same property. An afternoon on the resort's practice grounds or a visit to the spa, then a reserved table at the main restaurant. Green fee included in your three night package.

Day 4

Streamsong Black by Gil Hanse completes the trio. Check out after golf and transfer to Charleston, South Carolina, about four hours northeast. Check in to a Kiawah Island resort property, the Sanctuary Hotel or a villa, confirming your morning tee time on the Ocean Course.

Indicative green fee for resort guests: around $234 to $330 per round depending on season and package, 2026 rates, always confirm directly before booking.

Day 6

A second Kiawah course, Osprey Point or Turtle Point, for a less intense but still outstanding day of golf on the island. An evening in Charleston town if logistics allow, or a final dinner at the Sanctuary before departure.

Day 7

Depart from Charleston International Airport. Total: six nights, five championship rounds across two resorts, all meals within the resort packages, no scramble on the ground.

Best time to go and to book

The United States has no single golf season because the country spans a continent. The right time depends entirely on where you are going.

Southeast (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina): October through April is the prime window. Florida summers are humid and stormy; the Carolinas and Georgia are at their best in spring and autumn. Streamsong, Sea Island and Kiawah all see peak demand and peak pricing from March to May and again in October to November. Book four to eight weeks ahead for prime tee times, and further ahead for Kiawah's Ocean Course which fills quickly year round.

North Carolina (Pinehurst): Spring, April to June, and autumn, September to November, are the sweet spots. Summer is playable but warm. Winter is quiet and can offer lower package rates, though some courses reduce their schedules.

California (Pebble Beach): Year round, though spring, April to June, brings the most settled weather along the Monterey Peninsula. The course is playable in all months. Accommodation costs are highest in summer. Book lodging and tee times together as early as possible, as the two night stay requirement and limited tee time availability make this the hardest of the marquee US courses to schedule.

Oregon (Bandon Dunes): June through September for the most reliable weather on the Pacific coast. Peak season green fees are highest in this window. Shoulder months of April to May and October to November offer lower rates and fewer crowds. The resort operates year round but winter brings significant wind and rain that will test anyone not used to genuine links conditions.

Wisconsin (Whistling Straits): May through October. The course is not open in winter. Peak season on Lake Michigan runs June through August. Book the Straits Course as early as possible given the Ryder Cup profile of the venue.

All inclusive US golf, answered

What does an all inclusive golf package in the United States typically include?

At the major American resort destinations, a stay and play package bundles accommodation, a set number of rounds on the resort courses, and often breakfast daily. Some resorts add caddie fees, cart fees or a resort credit. Flights and ground transport between resorts are usually separate.

Which US golf resort offers the best value stay and play deal?

Streamsong in Florida and Reynolds Lake Oconee in Georgia regularly appear as strong value propositions: both offer multiple championship courses on a single property, self-contained lodging and food, and package rates that undercut comparable coastal resorts. Bandon Dunes in Oregon is exceptional for walking golf, with shoulder season rates lowering the per round cost considerably.

Is Pebble Beach worth the green fee?

Pebble Beach Golf Links is widely considered one of the finest public access courses in the world. The 2026 green fee is around $695 per round, and a two night minimum stay at a Pebble Beach Resorts property is required to book in advance. For many golfers it is a once in a lifetime round, and the views along the cliffs of Carmel Bay make it difficult to argue against the cost.

When is the best time to visit Bandon Dunes for golf?

Late spring and early autumn are the sweet spots. June through September brings the most settled weather on the Oregon coast, with peak season green fees around $345 per round. Shoulder months from April to May and October see reduced rates of roughly $175 to $250, and the courses are quieter. Winter is playable for the hardy but subject to significant wind and rain.

Can you play Pinehurst No. 2 without staying at the resort?

Access to No. 2 is restricted to resort guests. A minimum two night stay is required before you can book a tee time on the Donald Ross design, and a course premium applies on top of the standard package rate. The Donald Ross Golf Package starts from around $1,740 per person for two nights and three rounds, which remains one of the more accessible entry points to a major US Open venue.
