4 Day Dubai Golf Itinerary

Dubai turned desert into one of the most polished golf destinations on earth, a cluster of championship courses wrapped in five star hotels, fine dining and winter sun. Four days is enough to play the four that matter, the Emirates Majlis, the Earth Course, Dubai Creek and the Els Club, with time left for the city. Here is a day by day plan with 2026 green fees, drive times and the best time to go.

Who this trip suits

Dubai is the easy luxury golf break. The flights are convenient from much of the world, the standard of the courses and hotels is uniformly high, and the whole thing runs on rails, with buggies, caddies and clubhouses geared to international visitors. It suits golfers who want guaranteed winter sun, championship layouts they have watched on the European Tour, and a city to enjoy off the course, from the beach to the souks to some of the best restaurants in the region. It works equally as a couples trip with golf at its heart or a buddies break with a competition running across the four rounds.

The single most important decision is timing. Dubai golf lives and dies by the calendar, glorious from November to March and punishing in high summer. Get the season right, book the marquee tee times ahead, and the rest of the trip falls into place around a single hotel base.

The 4 day plan

Day 1Emirates Majlis

Emirates Golf Club, Majlis Course

Desert championship · host of the Dubai Desert Classic · from around 660 dirhams

Open with the course that started it all, the first grass course in the Middle East and the long time home of the Dubai Desert Classic. The Majlis is a proper championship test threading between dunes, lakes and native desert, with the famous island green eighth and a thrilling closing stretch beneath the clubhouse. Indicative 2026 green fees run from around 660 dirhams and up to roughly 900 at the seasonal peak, so this is the day to book first.

Day 2Earth Course

Jumeirah Golf Estates, Earth Course

Greg Norman design · host of the DP World Tour Championship · from around 475 dirhams

Move to the season ending stage of the DP World Tour. The Greg Norman designed Earth Course is bold and tree lined, more American in feel than the open desert layouts, with water and risk and reward decisions all the way to the grandstand finish. Indicative 2026 fees start around 475 dirhams on a weekday and rise toward 580 at the weekend, with twilight and nine hole rates much lower if you want a relaxed second round.

Day 3Dubai Creek

Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club

Waterfront championship · iconic sail shaped clubhouse · near the city

Swap the desert fringe for the water, with a city centre round beside the Creek and its marina, framed by the unmistakable sail shaped clubhouse. It is the most urban and arguably the most relaxing day of the trip, a well conditioned championship course with the skyline as a backdrop and a long, glamorous history of hosting professional golf. Confirm current visitor green fees directly, and consider a late afternoon tee time to finish with the lights coming on across the water.

Day 4The Els Club

The Els Club, Dubai Sports City

Ernie Els design · links inspired desert layout

Finish with Ernie Els's own design, a links inspired course of firm fairways, deep bunkering and big, rolling greens that rewards the ground game more than its neighbours. It is a fine, strategic test and a fitting last round, with a strong clubhouse for a closing lunch. If you would rather end on a marquee name, Trump International nearby is the alternative, indicatively around 600 dirhams on weekdays and 800 at the weekend. Confirm current fees directly before booking.

Green fees, drive times and logistics

Indicative 2026 weekday green fees and drive times. Fees rise sharply in the December to February peak and fall in summer. Always confirm current rates directly before booking.

When to go and where to stay

Play Dubai between November and March, with December to February the prime window for comfortable temperatures and peak course conditioning, which is also when fees and hotels cost the most. Summer is searingly hot, so golf shifts to dawn and floodlit evenings and prices tumble. One base works for the whole trip. Stay near Dubai Marina or on the Palm for easy reach of the Emirates and Jumeirah courses and the beach, or choose a golf resort hotel on site if waking up beside the first tee appeals. A hire car or a driver makes the short hops between courses simple, and leaves your evenings free for the city.

Dubai golf trip questions

How much does golf cost in Dubai in 2026?

Indicative 2026 green fees run from around 475 dirhams at the Earth Course on a weekday up to roughly 660 dirhams, and as much as 900 dirhams at peak, on the Emirates Majlis. Trump International is around 600 dirhams on weekdays and 800 at the weekend, while twilight and nine hole rounds are far cheaper. Rates rise sharply in the cooler December to February peak, so always confirm current fees directly before booking.

When is the best time to play golf in Dubai?

From November to March, when daytime temperatures are comfortable and the courses are in peak condition, which is also when green fees and hotel rates are highest. The December to February window is the prime season. Summer, roughly June to September, is extremely hot, so golfers play at dawn or under floodlights and pay much less. Spring and autumn are pleasant shoulder seasons.

Is four days enough for a Dubai golf trip?

Yes. Four days lets you play the four courses that define Dubai golf, the Emirates Majlis, Jumeirah Golf Estates Earth Course, Dubai Creek and the Els Club, with time left for the city, the beach and dining. The courses are all within a reasonable drive of one another, so there is no need to relocate, and you can add a rest day or a desert excursion without rushing the golf.

What should you wear and know for golf in Dubai?

Standard golf attire with a collared shirt and soft spikes is expected, and a buggy is normal given the heat, often included in the fee. Book tee times in advance, especially in peak season, and start early to beat the warmest part of the day. Most clubs are visitor friendly and welcome international golfers, so the main planning task is securing the times you want.
